Prayer Shawls

The Tallit is the white prayer shawl worn by men during prayer in synagogues or Messianic assemblies. The Tallit include the tzitzits (tassels) at the four corners, which are commanded to be worn by God. Either a gold or silver thread is embroidered on the Tallit and indicates that the shawl is both holy and royal, since it is an object of the Messiah. A person who wears the Tallit gives testimony to the covering of the Messiah and submits themselves to his authority.
